Ann Trevarthan

Ann Trevarthan, 79, of Newman passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Newman Rehab and Health Care Center in Newman.

Ann was born on May 21, 1945 in Clinton, IN to Fred and Ruth (McCracken) Trevarthan Jr. 

She is survived by one niece, Denise (D’Arcy) Ballinger; one nephew, Ken Trevarthan; sister-in-law, Mary Trevarthan; and three great-nieces and nephews, Michael Poynter, Sera Welch, and James Trevarthan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ruth Trevarthan Jr.; and one brother, Fred Trevarthan III.

Ann graduated from Clinton High School in Indiana and worked as a CNA at Manteno State Hospital and various other jobs in the Champaign Urbana area.  She lived a very simple life and enjoyed her time visiting with family and friends.  She also enjoyed watching U of I sporting events on TV and baking.

Ann will be laid to rest at the Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
