Anthony T. Wilson

Anthony “Tony” T. Wilson, 50, of Brocton passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Carle Hospital in Urbana.

Tony was born on December 19, 1971 in Urbana to Gary and Joyce (Cox) Wilson.  He married Jaelene Delaney on November 16, 1996 in Rantoul, IL.

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Joyce Wilson; his loving wife, Jaelene Wilson; six children, Chelsi Wilson (Brandon Knerr), Justin Wilson (Arizona Quick), Hanna (Sean) Hood, Dakota (Cayla) Delaney, Bryce Wilson and Gabrielle Wilson (Levi Reed); 12 grandchildren; one brother, Gary (Vicki) Wilson Jr.; and a niece, Beth Hamilton.

He was preceded in death by one son, Devin Wilson.

Tony was a hard worker and was always there to lend a helping hand to others.  Even after his passing Tony continues to help others as he was an organ donor.  He is helping people see, burn victims, cancer patients, babies, and many others.  He mentored a lot of kids and loved being with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching “The Price is Right”, “Wheel of Fortune”, and “Live P.D.” on TV.  He will be truly missed by all his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Joines Funeral Home (Newman) with Pastor Justin Smith officiating.
