Darlene K. Miller

Darlene K. Miller, 82, of Broadlands passed away Saturday (April 1, 2023) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Darlene was born on March 10, 1941, in Champaign, to Alvin and Frances (Keolker) Schaefer. She married Vernon E. Miller on June 12, 1970, in Broadlands.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Vernon Miller; one daughter, Theresa Winchester; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three siblings, Sandra Underwood, Sheri Somers and Jim Schaefer; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jerry Schaefer; and one sister, Beverly Hill.

Darlene enjoyed euchre, bingo and reading books.

Private family services will be held. Memorial donations may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice.
