David L. Chandler

David Lee Chandler, 56 of Newman passed away at Sarah Bush Hospital on June 6,2023.

He was born September 1, 1966, in Urbana, the son of Hughie Chandler and Helma Greger.

He is survived by his partner, Kathy Fredrick; children, Derek Chandler, Jessica Chandler, Douglas Chandler, Jennifer Miller, Jordyn Chandler, Dane Chandler and Jada Chandler; as well as grandchildren, Mattison, Makayla, Cadence, Carson, Macy, Marcell, Sofia, Marcus, Skylar, Blaiklee and Davie, brothers, Steve Chandler and Darrell Fisher and sister Darlene Price.

He is preceded in death by his father and sister, Patty.

David loved camping, playing slots and spending time with friends. He was a laborer with Laborers Local 703. Known for his sense of humor and generosity, David was always quick to help when needed.
