David E. Craddock

David E. Craddock, 51, of Newman passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at his residence.

Dave was born on April 26, 1972 in Tuscola to Jimmie and Carolyn (Johnson) Craddock.

He is survived by two daughters, Chelsea and Darian Craddock; two grandchildren, Annistyn and Rynlee Walker; three brothers, Douglas (Becky) Craddock, Donald (Lori) Craddock, and Daniel (Jeannie) Craddock; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dave graduated from Newman High School in 1990 where he had a successful sports career in basketball, baseball, football, and track.  He enjoyed playing the drums, listening to Ozzy Osbourne, or being outdoors enjoying the weather.  Nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He was loved by his entire family and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2023 at the Joines Funeral Home in Newman.  The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Tom Compton officiating; burial will follow at the Young America Cemetery.
