Debra Kay Williamson born December 13, 1954 in Urban Illinois went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. She attended Villa Grove High School in 1973. She was united in marriage to Stanley Williamson (of Villa Grove now in LaBelle, MO) in December of 1974.
Preceded in death by mother Leta May and father Robert Francis Jones Sr, her sister-in-law, and a niece. Survived by her daughter Melissa (Sam) Clary and grandson William Van Meter of Lewistown, MO. And life companion Maurice of Charleston. Three brothers, Robert F. Jones Jr. of Villa Grove, Mike (Val) Jones of Florida, Danny Paul (Laura Beth) Jones of Maine, Paula Albin and friend Curt of Champaign, as well as brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Karen Williamson of Pesotum, and several nieces and nephews as well as step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She loved her family and friends fiercely and was an advocate of hospice hearts animal rescue and loved all animals especially her dog Bear. Debra attended Villa Grove High School and graduated in 1973. She spent her early years being a loving stay at home mother to her daughter and helping Stan on the farm. As she journeyed through life, she drove a bus for the Villa Grove School district while Melissa was in J.r. high and worked for Warden Martin in Savoy Illinois until 1998. She retired from Herf Jones in 2008.
She lived her final chapter of her story with her Life partner Maurice in their home in Charleston, IL where they enjoyed going to antique sales and taking their dog on walks and enjoying their time together.
Memorial can be made in her name to Blessing Health Foundation in Quincy, IL. The donation’s will go to help diabetic patients in their treatment and care as well as diabetic supplies.
