Donald S. Martini

Donald Siebold Martini, 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Carver Rehabilitation and Living Center in Durham, NC.

Donald was born on July 26, 1939 in Chicago, IL.  His parents were Siebold and Marie Martini.

He graduated from Nathan Hale Elementary, Luther H.S., and Eastern Illinois University.  He trained as a Marine and spent time with the National Guard.  Donald worked in the water treatment business in Illinois, and was relocated to Raleigh, NC in 1975.  He ended his career days with his own business in Raleigh, NC.  Until his recent illness he lived in Creedmoor and Surf City, NC.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and sister Norma.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jane, his sons Paul and Chris, daughter-in-law Tammy, and three grandchildren- Cassie, David, and Joel Martini.

The family will travel to Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Newman, IL to lay Donald to rest.
