Edith Reinhart, 93 of Pesotum, died Monday, October 27 at Carle Hospital surrounded by family.
Edith was born in Pesotum, August 14, 1932 the daughter of Frank and Caroline (Kleiss) of Pesotum. She married Larry Reinhart on January 28th, 1950 and together they had nine children.
Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s church in rural Pesotum at 11 am, Saturday November 1, with visitation one hour before.
Survivors include her nine children: Thomas (Elaine) Reinhart, Nokomis; Jerry (Dee) Reinhart, Sadorus; Stephen (Becky) Reinhart, Pesotum; Beverly Palmberg, Simi Valley, California; Barbara (Joseph) Waymire, Shelbyville; Otto (Angela) Reinhart, Villa Grove; Nancy Wylie (Jeff Hubbart, deceased), Villa Grove; Glenn (Mary) Reinhart, LeRoy; Roxane (John Gniewkowski) Reinhart, Alpharetta, Georgia; and 25 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters: Pat Cahill and Carol Proudfit. Preceding her in death were her husband of over 60 years, Larry, and four brothers; Willie (Harold), Earl (Pete), Bruce and Don.
If desired, memorials can be made to the St. Mary's Building Fund or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
