Erma L. Loos

Erma L. Loos, 95, of Newman passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Newman Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

She was born to Charles and Viola (Easton) Buirley on February 19, 1926 in Charleston, IL.  She married Myron Loos on February 5, 1946.

Erma is survived by two children, Charles Loos and Judith (Terry) Mcdonnel; five grandchildren, Heidi (Tim) Lewis, Nicole (Jesse) Johnson, Jim Eilbracht, Mike (Brenda) Eilbracht, and John Mcdonnel; and five great-grandchildren, Mckenna Lewis, Dylan Lewis, Grady Johnson, Leah Johnson, and Abigail Eilbracht.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and five siblings.

Erma worked at Carson Pirie Scott clothing store in Champaign for many years.  During the winter, her and her husband enjoyed going to Lake Okeechobee in Florida.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Centennial Cemetery in Villa Grove with Pastor Jerry Conner officiating.
