Frances L. Broeker

Frances Lee Broeker, 82, of Villa Grove passed away July 7, 2024 at Carle Hospital in Urbana.

She is survived by her three children, Deena Reed of Villa Grove, Curt Broeker of Camargo, and Mike Broeker of Villa Grove; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Patricia Enyart of Villa Grove and Janet VanFossan of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Esther Farrier and her son Lindel Scott Broeker.

Frances loved flowers, animals, and reading.  She was always out and about willing to chat with anyone.  Most of all she loved her family cookouts, birthday parties, and holidays.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024 at the Joines Funeral Home in Villa Grove the funeral service immediately following (11 a.m.); Ted Shearer will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Tuscola Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Douglas County Humane Society.
