Heidi “Munk” will always be remembered for her beautiful spirit, loving heart, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. A devoted mother and family woman, Heidi found her greatest happiness in spending time with her children, nieces, nephews, and loved ones, who were truly her heart and soul.
Heidi enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and simple moments like driving with the windows down while listening to music. She spent several years as a stay-at-home mom, dedicating herself fully to caring for her family. Known for her radiant smile that could light up any room, Heidi was often the life of the party. Though small in stature, she was incredibly mighty in strength, love, and compassion. No matter what someone was going through, Heidi was always there to lend a helping hand, offer comfort, or simply be present when she was needed most.
Her warmth, laughter, kindness, and unforgettable spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Heidi’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 10am – 1pm on Friday, May 22, 2026 with the funeral service beginning at 1pm at the Joines Funeral Home in Newman; Pastor Justin Smith will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Young America Cemetery, Hume.
