Josephine M. Hill, 70, of Brocton, IL passed away on January 2, 2023 at the Franciscan Health Lafayette East Hospital in Lafayette, IN.
Josephine was born on May 23, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN to Harry J. Coons and Cecelie R. (Giorgi) Coons. She married John C. Hill on July 10, 1999 in Madison, IN.
She is survived by three children, Johanna (Eric) Shamp, Jake Spellman, and Lauren Grise; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Josephine enjoyed everything about genealogy. She loved digging into her family’s past and connecting the dots of how everyone was related. She also enjoyed sewing and other craft work.
