Marilyn J. Dallas

Marilyn J. Dallas, 84, of Tuscola passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025 at Carle Hospital in Urbana.

Marilyn was born on October 13, 1940 in Newman, IL to Glen and Opal (Baker) Davis.  She married Clifford W. Dallas on June 18, 1958; he preceded her in death in 2005.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Opal Davis; siblings, Ester Payne, Margaret Derby, Helen Burnett, and David Davis; and brother-in-law, Jack Trowbridge.

She is survived by her children, Andy (Dawn) Dallas and Terry Dallas; grandchildren, Leslie Porsche and Nick Dallas; great-granddaughter, Emma Porsche; sister, Glenda Trowbridge; and several nieces and nephews.

Marilyn enjoyed the summertime so she could be outside picking up her yard and mowing the grass.  She treasured her time with her family and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at the Joines Funeral Home in Villa Grove with a funeral service to immediately follow.  Pastor Mike Zylstra will be officiating.
