Marilyn L. Honn

Marilyn Louise Honn, 83, of Villa Grove passed away Sunday (Nov. 2, 2025) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Born on April 19, 1942, in Brook, Ind., Marilyn married Bernard Honn in 1958. She spent the last 21 years residing in Villa Grove with her daughter Mindy Henry and son-in-law, Kenny Henry.

Marilyn found joy in crafting - especially crocheting and quilting - and had a fondness for true-crime television and sweets.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; children Jeffrey, Monica, Johnny and Michelle; and grandson Chase.

 She is survived by her daughter Mindy, eight grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the Joines Funeral Home in Villa Grove.  Pastor Mike Zylstra will be officiating.
