Marilyn K. (Heneghan) Williams, 81, of Villa Grove, IL was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
Marilyn was born on July 1, 1943 in Forsyth, IL. She was the oldest daughter of Paul and Esther Heneghan. She married Billy Williams on September 15, 1963 in Villa Grove.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Esther; husband, Billy; sister, Peggy Kramer; and sister-in-law, Sandra Heneghan.
Marilyn worked as a certified solderer at Magnavox and Central Data. She also worked at Fabrionics as a silk screener, but her favorite job of all was being a bus driver for the Villa Grove School District.
She is survived by her daughter, Dana (Rusty) Craig; granddaughter, Alana (Logan Dunn) Craig; grandson, Jacob (Kristen) Craig; great-grandchildren, Logan (Sarah), Gracie, Anna, Colby, Clayton, Ellie, and Warren; brother, Larry Heneghan; sister, Becky Reinhart; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 9-11 a.m. with a funeral service immediately following at Joines Funeral Home in Villa Grove with Ted Shearer officiating. Private burial will be for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Villa Grove Methodist Church, Villa Grove School, or The Oaks Manor.
