Mike Underwood

Mike Underwood, 79, of Newman passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Carle Hospital in Urbana.

Mike was born to Howard and Pauline (Jewell) Underwood on March 8, 1945 in Tuscola, IL.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Underwood; three children, Michelle (Johnny) Underwood, Mike (Heather) Underwood, and Stephen Underwood; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Zachary, Colton, Hannah, Hailey, and Parker; two great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Caydin; and two brothers, Phil (Teresa) Underwood and Gerald Underwood.

Mike enjoyed being outside and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

No services will be held.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Shriners Children’s, or Wounded Warrior Project.
