Patricia H. Davis

Patricia H. Davis, 91, of Villa Grove died on July 20, 2025 at Amber Glen Memory Care in Urbana. 

A visitation will be held from 2 – 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Joines Funeral Home with a funeral service starting at 3 p.m.; Ted Shearer will be officiating.  Burial will be at the Murdock Cemetery.

Pat was born on April 16, 1934, in Brocton, to parents Merl and Mattie Groves. She married James E. Davis on July 11, 1952. They happily celebrated over 60 years of marriage before Jim passed away in 2018. Pat is reunited with her husband, and her two children, Timothy and Brenda who also preceded her in death. 

Surviving are her son-in-law, Wayne Parker, four grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. 

Pat spent her life caring for others. She was a strong woman who traveled the world with her husband while he was in the Air Force. She loved to go square dancing with her husband, hosted many family gatherings in her home, and loved to garden.

 Memorials can be made to an organization of the donor’s choice.
