Raymond Eddie Orwick (74) entered into the presence of the Lord the morning of March 19 at his daughter's home in Weldon, Illinois.
Raymond worked hard his whole life as a carpenter, painter, landscaper but still coached baseball and showed up for football games and school events. When he was young he raced motorcycles and bowled. He also enjoyed hunting, though later in life he called it “taking his gun for a walk in the woods”. He was the kind of man who showed his love through actions, you always knew he’d show up if you had car trouble or needed shoveled out of the snow. He was also the biggest fan of westerns, books and movies, especially John Wayne. Mostly though he was a good father, he would come home after a long day at work and still throw a ball or take his little girl for a bike ride.
Raymond was born in Tyrone, Pennsylvania on December 27th 1950 to Kate and Raymond Orwick.
