Robert L. Hallett

Robert L. Hallett, 78, of Danville (formerly of Villa Grove) passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, IL.

Bob was born to Charles and Nellie (Worley) Hallett on June 26, 1946 in Danville, IL.

He is survived by four children, little Robert Hallett, Denise, and Nathaniel (Meagan) Hallett and Anita Hammer; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Hallett, Thomas Hallett, Brayten Blythe, Allyanna Blythe, Nick Hammer, Jonathan Kellems, and Tony Hammer ; and four siblings, Charles (Sharon) Hallett, Frank (Durene) Hallett, Wilma (Don) Wolf, and Eileen (Jerry) Bloxom.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, nephew, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Bob loved to fish with his family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the Centennial Cemetery in Villa Grove.
