Steven W. Craddock

Steven William Craddock, 75, passed peacefully June 12, 2024 surrounded by his family. Steve was born April 6, 1949 to Eldon William Craddock and Marjorie Rowand Craddock. He has 1 sister Annette Luth (Larry).

After graduating from ABL High School he attended Southern Illinois University. Steve and Peggy Chandler Craddock married March 9, 1969.

They have 3 children: Jeffrey William, Nebraska, Timothy Steven, Allerton (Heidi), and Amy Beth Heppe, Los Angeles, CA. Loved and missed by his 4 beloved grandchildren Matthew Craddock, Benjamin Craddock, Audrey Heppe, and Rhys Heppe, to whom he is Papa Steve. He was committed to the family farm, working the land for over 56 years in Allerton, IL.

A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the Joines Funeral Home in Newman. Funeral service will be the following day (June 20) at 10 a.m. at the Sidell United Methodist Church in Sidell. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Sidell United Methodist Church or Homer United Methodist Church.
