Timothy L. Eakle

Timothy L. Eakle, 51, of Broadlands passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 doing what he loved, riding his Harley.  

Tim was born on February 11, 1972 in Indianapolis, IN to Robert “Tommy” and Frances (James) Eakle.

He is survived by his mother, Frances Eakle; one son, Caelan Eakle; three siblings, Tammy (Mike) Watkins, Robert “Bob” (Jennifer) Eakle, and Charles (Tara) Eakle; and his significant other of 11 years, Valerie McKinzie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Eakle; and two siblings, Carol Eakle and infant Eakle.

Tim was a true biker and he lived to ride.  Spring was his favorite time to ride but he was known to bundle up and ride in the cold of winter if the roads were clear.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand to others and would often do it not expecting anything in return.  He loved his pets and all animals and loved his son and the time they spent together.  

A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Joines Funeral Home in Newman.
